Cristina Bordin creates interiors and handmade ceramic pieces that bring warmth and joy to the spaces people live and work in.
Cristina Bordin is a designer and ceramic artist based in Austin, Texas. Her work is rooted in the relationship between space, material, and—creating environments that feel natural, functional, and deeply personal.
With a background in construction and design, Cristina brings both creativity and practicality to her work. She understands how to translate ideas into real, livable spaces—balancing aesthetics, materials, and budget without losing sight of the overall vision.
Natural elements, soft forms, and a sense of ease are consistent threads throughout her work, whether in interiors or in the pieces
she creates by hand.
In the studio, Cristina creates one-of-a-kind ceramic sconces and sculptural pieces inspired by organic forms found in nature. Each piece is handmade in Austin and designed to bring joy and wonder into a space.
These works are a natural extension of her design practice—exploring how light, material, and form interact in more intimate and expressive ways.

Cristina approaches each project as a collaboration. She takes the time to understand how her clients live or work, what matters most to them, and how a space needs to function day to day. From there,
she helps shape a clear direction—removing what doesn’t serve the space and refining what does.
Her process is thoughtful but flexible, allowing projects to evolve while staying grounded in intention.
